Drainage Robot — Ushering in the Era of Unmanned Flood Drainage
In conventional flood-control operations, personnel working in deep-water zones face enormous safety risks and low operational efficiency. To address this critical challenge,Huangshan Zhongguangtai Special Equipment Co., Ltd. has independently developed the all-terrain hydraulic tracked drainage robot, centered on the principles of "all-terrain operation, intelligent drainage, and unmanned control," ushering in a new era of emergency flood drainage.

All-Terrain Mobility — Adapting to Complex Environments
The Huangshan Zhongguangtai drainage robot features a tracked chassis combined with hydraulic drive, delivering exceptional terrain adaptability. Total machine weight ≤ 3,800 kg; overall dimensions ≤ 3,400 × 1,800 × 2,100 mm, enabling the robot to navigate freely through space-constrained areas such as narrow alleys, underground parking facilities, and underground utility access points.
The robot achieves a wading depth of 500 mm and can negotiate slopes of up to 25°, handling with ease complex scenarios including urban flooding, tunnel inundation, river dredging, and waterlogged tidal flats. Its onboard 150 kW engine eliminates the need for towing, enabling rapid self-deployment to the flood-affected area and significantly reducing response time.
Superior Drainage Performance — Mission-Critical Efficiency
The drainage robot is equipped with two 1,500 m³/h hydraulic submersible drainage pumps, delivering a combined flow capacity of 3,000 m³/h — equivalent to six conventional small-scale pumps. Pump head of 15 m; supports low-water-level drainage with a minimum suction depth of ≤ 380 mm; capable of discharging floodwater to a distance of 500 m, meeting the rapid-drainage requirements of large-scale flooding events.
The pumps are constructed from stainless steel with impeller hardness HV ≥ 1,000, capable of passing solid particles up to 25 mm, making them suitable for floodwater containing debris. The hydraulic telescopic platform combined with a lifting mechanism allows the pump to tilt fore and aft and raise/lower (carriage stroke 0–500 mm), automatically adapting to varying water levels and reducing the frequency of manual adjustment.

Intelligent Control System — Ensuring Personnel Safety
The Huangshan Zhongguangtai drainage robot supports remote wireless control with a control range of ≥ 500 m, enabling operators to perform all tasks from a safe location, completely eliminating the safety hazards associated with deep-water operations. The robot is equipped with an intelligent water-level adaptive system that automatically adjusts pump elevation and operating parameters in response to water level changes, enabling unattended continuous operation.
The overall electrical system achieves an ingress protection rating of IP65, while the radar system is rated IP68, enabling stable operation in harsh environments including heavy rain and dust. The equipment features multiple safety protection functions including ground fault protection, overload protection, and over-temperature protection, ensuring safe and reliable operations.
Multi-Scenario Applications — Safeguarding Urban Safety
The Huangshan Zhongguangtai drainage robot is widely used across multiple sectors including urban flood control, emergency drainage, fire suppression water supply, and underground parking facility drainage. During the 2025 flood season rescue operations in multiple regions, the robot demonstrated outstanding performance by successfully completing drainage missions in numerous complex scenarios, earning high recognition from clients.
